I have hopefully made this foolproof, no pun intended for anyone.  Once you have downloaded the file, run the install program.  It will run like any other install, prompting you for information about the location of the game, i.e. c:\dynamix\tribes2\gamedata.

It does need to be installed into the GAMEDATA directory.

Go thru all the screens and when the install is complete you will have two new icons on your desktop,  one will be Anarchy, for single player and hosting a game, and the other is Anarchy Dedicated to start a dedicated server running.  

How is that for simple!!!!!!!!!

If you are a server admin or have downloaded the mod and you would like to get updates as to when the mod has new patches as well as new versions released email me here and I will let  you know.

Please only use the above if you are a server admin wanting to keep up to date with the patches and new releases.  For questions and comments please use the Forums.

Once you have completed the above start it up and enjoy :)

LINUX SERVER and ZIP INSTALLS

For LINUX server admins you can get the Anarchy zip file that you can unzip to the Gamedata directory, from our Downloads Page.

LINUX INSTALL NOTES

First and foremost you need the Loki Tribes 2 Install for Linux Servers.  Then the steps below should work fine for you.

The MOD has to be extracted to the /localuser/.loki/tribes2 directory.  Then edit the AnarchyServerPrefs.cs file to your liking.

Then change directories from a command line using the following command.

cd /usr/local/games/tribes2 (installed location of Tribes2)

After changing directories launch the application with the following command.

./tribes2d -dedicated -mod ANARCHY +exec AnarchyServerPrefs.cs
