Spawn Armor: The spawn armor is a medium armor. It has four weapons to spawn, proton cannon, blaster, chaingun and spin fuser. You also spawn with mines, and a repair pack, just to give you a figting chance in case you spawn in a game where your base has been raped.

Stryker: This armor is designed to be a long range shooter. It can carry the Sniper Rifle, Laser Rifle and a few other weapons. Due to its size and need for agility it is limited to three weapons only.
Infiltrator : This armor is intended for long range flight and recon. It's outer skin and shielding were reduced down to increase flight time. It is good for getting someone out in the field of battle first to setup sensors for your team. Limited to three weapons
Assault: Game Default
Engineer: This armor can do it all, well almost. It is the base defender and builder. You can setup everything in the inventory stations with this armor. You have a four weapon selection with this armor, but it is always handy to keep the repair gun in one of the weapons slots.
Erupter : This is a tough medium armor. It was designed for demolition purposes. It is highly resistant to explosions, but is limited in mobility and agility. It is also the only medium armor that can carry the mortar with limited rounds. Can carry four weapons.
Golem : This is the weakest of the heavy armors, but it has a little more speed and mobility. Better chance of surviving in a fight with a medium armor. This armor class is limited to five weapons.
Juggernaut: Game Default
Devestator: This is the toughest of all the heavy armors. Since the armor skin and shielding were increased the mobility of this armor was reduced greatly. It was designed for base defense, but it done properly and if it makes it to the enemy base it can be a handful to get rid off. This armor can carry the max weapons of four and is the only armor that can carry and deploy the NUKE BOMB.
